Bob Ehlert

1942-2013

Bob Ehlert had an adventurer's heart. He wasn't afraid to get out and try something new; he loved to drink good wine, travel to far-out destinations, sail, garden, give back to his community, and, of course, he loved his family and friends deeply. Bob was much loved and is greatly missed. We hope this site offers a way for his many friends, acquaintances, and family to come together to celebrate his life.

Weeping and Sorrow
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

-Kahlil Gibran

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

~Irish blessing

Bob's death is still a mystery and the case is still open. I continue to seek answers. I prefer this be a celebration of his life rather than a discussion on how he died. Thank you.
